WWOOF
World Wide Opportunities on Organic Farms is a cultural exchange. We gather a list of sustainable farms, projects, and organizations that invite
volunteers to help out. People interested in experiencing a sustainable lifestyle use our list to make contact with hosts
and setup visits. Hosts and volunteers work out the details of their own arrangements.
Who should be a host?
Anyone who can answer yes to these two questions:
1) Is my project organic and sustainable?
2) Could I use a hand every now and then?
What's Involved?
There is no obligation to accept volunteers when you signup to be a host. You accept volunteers as you see fit.
Generally you should be able to provide your volunteers with basic room and board. Please note that OrganicVolunteers is
a matchmaking service and does not take responsibility for the actions or negligence of any participants in this program.
Who should be a volunteer?
Anyone interested in learning about environmental sustainability.
How does it work?
OrganicVolunteers is a simple matchmaking service. We provide a list of hosts and their contact info.
Note: OrganicVolunteers does not place volunteers with hosts. Do not show up at a host's door unnanounced.
You must make contact first and discuss your arrangement prior to arriving.
